Customized Structural Color Filters by Pixel‐Level Electrothermal Regulation

چکیده

Reflective structural colors have backlight-free supremacy and can provide energy-efficient environmental-friendly color production for many applications. However, they are hindered by the complex process incorrect after fabrication. Here, a pixelated electrothermal oxidation technique is proposed that precisely tailor produce reflective covering entire visible range, providing possibility customized filter arrays from titanium canvas. Furthermore, as demonstration, photonic-firework-like array achieved in single step via thermal engineering. Based on this one-step-forming array, computational spectrometer also realized featuring resolvability of 10 nm operating bandwidth whole range. Considering its compactness mass capability, method has numerous potential applications in, e.g., imaging, anti-counterfeiting, printing, display, spectroscopy.
